Dec 10, 2015 MHXX: Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, XX Key Quests Guide Technobubble. A list of all English and Japanese key quests from Monster Hunter X. Must complete all 3★ Village Key Quests to unlock. Unlocks the Lv2 versions of each weapon Hunter Art that is unlocked from the beginning. Adds Malfest Roast to the ingredients list. Adds the Rife Roast to the Bistro. (Option to cook meat and fish at the Bistro). Sep 07, 2018 Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, on the other hand, fits squarely in line with previous Monster Hunters. The game won't usually tell you what your key quests are, and it's mostly up to you to.
People will still join multiplayer but you have to host a quest to actually clear it. You need to clear a bunch of multiplayer quests to progress farther in the game, so you either need someone to hard carry you, rotate key quests, or just do them solo. Their scaled for 4 players but most of them are pretty manageable. This page contains the key quests for the Low and High Rank Multiplayer section of Monster Hunter Geneartions Ultimate: the Hunters'.
As a hunter, you'll take on quests to hunt monsters in a variety of habitats. Take down these monsters and receive materials that you can use to create stronger weapons and armor in order to hunt even more dangerous monsters.
In Monster Hunter: World, the latest installment in the series, you can enjoy the ultimate hunting experience, using everything at your disposal to hunt monsters in a new world teeming with surprises and excitement.
Setting
Once every decade, elder dragons trek across the sea to travel to the land known as the New World in a migration referred to as the Elder Crossing.
To get to the bottom of this mysterious phenomenon, the Guild has formed the Research Commission, dispatching them in large fleets to the New World.
As the Commission sends its Fifth Fleet in pursuit of the colossal elder dragon, Zorah Magdaros, one hunter is about to embark on a journey grander than anything they could have ever imagined.

Your equipment will give you the power to need to carve out a place for yourself in the New World.
The Hunter's Arsenal
There are fourteen different weapons at the hunter's disposal, each with its own unique characteristics and attacks. Many hunters acquire proficiency in multiple types, while others prefer to attain mastery of one.
Scoutflies
Monster tracks, such as footprints and gashes, dot each locale. Your Scoutflies will remember the scent of a monster and guide you to other nearby tracks. And as you gather more tracks, the Scoutflies will give you even more information.
Slinger
The Slinger is an indispensable tool for a hunter, allowing you to arm yourself with stones and nuts that can be gathered from each locale. From diversion tactics to creating shortcuts, the Slinger has a variety of uses, and allows you to hunt in new and interesting ways.
Specialized Tools
Specialized tools activate powerful effects for a limited amount of time, and up to two can be equipped at a time. Simple to use, they can be selected and activated just like any other item you take out on a hunt.
Palicoes
Palicoes are hunters' reliable comrades out in the field, specialized in a variety of offensive, defensive, and restorative support abilities.
The hunter's Palico joins the Fifth Fleet with pride, as much a bona fide member of the Commission as any other hunter.

A wise person once said, 'Haste makes waste.'
That is, unless you've played the Japanese version of the latest Monster Hunter game to death like I did and now need to blaze through your village/caravan and gathering hall quests to reach the endgame quickly in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Maybe it's your first crack at the latest game in the series but you still want to progress in a jiffy.
Then it becomes 'He who strikes first, wins.' Just ask Charlie 'Tigrex Blood' Sheen.
For newcomers to the game, you don't have to finish every quest to unlock the next rank or batch of missions in Monster Hunter. Instead, you can finish what are called 'key quests' to unlock the next set of missions right away.
If you're in a rush to get to 10-star village/caravan quests or those tougher Gathering Hall missions to be able to craft better gear, here's a list of key quests to speed up your progress.

CARAVAN AND VILLAGE QUESTS
These refer to the campaign mode of the game, which progresses the story. Monsters are not quite as tough as they are in online/multiplayer mode but you have to solo them.

To progress further, you'll need to do two expeditions: Kill Velocidrome and Kill Yian Kut Ku. These unlock:

— Lets… volt… in! I still remember the first time my cousins saw the docking manuever while playing the Japanese version of the game. 'Wait, did they just combine? That's awesome!' Finishing this also unlocks the Wyceum research center, which will be key later when fighting frenzied and extreme monsters, especially those that make your weapons and bullets bounce.
Nocturnal Commission

— This unlocks a pretty cool cut scene, plus your next urgent.

GATHERING HALL QUESTS
Say hello to the multiplayer part of MH4U. Yes, you can still solo missions if you want but keep in mind that the monsters will be tougher. For the bulk of these, I basically formed a two-man party with my cousin, which provides just the right balance difficulty-wise. Plus we only had to do the urgents twice as opposed to three or four times with a bigger team. Then again, feel free to do whatever works for you.
